I came across these great patterned fabrics today at Hus & Hem.
I am a sucker for great patterns, and I love the clean, bright Scandinavian inspired styles. Now if only I could think of a use for the fabrics.
Last night I came across this amazing work by Jen Stark, and just had to share.
If you haven’t noticed, I all but stopped using my tumblr since discovering Pinterest a few months ago, since most of what I wanted to share really just needs a quick pin.
These awesome cut paper works of art deserve more than a quick pin onto the ever changing visual boards of Pinterest [not that I didn’t also immediately pin it up].
I hope you all enjoy this work as much as I do!

Came across these illustrations by Dan Mountford today. Truly awe inspiring work.

Brighton University Graphic Design student Dan Mountford has an incredible series of portraits titled The Worlds Inside of Us. Dan describes this series as “a visual journey through our minds by calm and tidy means which the reality of everyday life does not show.” He explores the use of double exposure in his photographs, successfully isolating parts of an image in camera with no help from our friend Photoshop. His images are captivating with their thoughtful execution and composition, and there’s no doubt that we will be seeing more exciting work from him in the future.
I love the textures and color in Swedish designer Carl Kleiner’s work.

Watch these awesomely adorable credits for Le Petit Nicolas (I remember reading these stories in my high school French class!). The way they incorporate the original illustrations into something moveable and 3D really evokes the playful feeling of the comics while feeling fresh and modern. C’est Fantastique!

My current jewelry designer obsession is Laura Lombardi. Each piece is made with vintage materials, re-purposed in a way that is completely modern.
She also has a great Tumblr full of her inspiration. It’s moody and gorgeous.
These Stamp Rugs make for great decor. I love how they are styled here as wall art. What a lovely pop of color.
I aspire to this someday. And this.
